This is our first full day with the children. We let them make sock puppets which will be given to the children attending the pageant. During the pre-show there will lots of things for the children coming to see the pageant They will be playing pioneer games. We had the children who are in the pageant make sock puppets to be given away. We need about 1000 puppets and the children are doing service. It seems every activity is related to missionary work or doing a service for others. The core cast sets the tone by talking to everyone and getting to know their names. They play with the children lots and are always thanking everyone for the job they are doing. It's an encredible experience to watch everyone doing the same service for others. This gives you a good reason to kind of understand the feelings that are here and feel the spirit of Nauvoo. I love it.
