Today was an incredible day and what a great place to have a birthday. We started at church, which set the spirit for the entire day. Testimony meeting was awesome as was Sunday School and Relief Society. It incredible that the ward here puts up with the 100's a people that come to church each week and are so welcoming and prepared for them. After church Kelley and Alexis invited me to go to Carthage with them. It was such a sacred feeling. To see the door and room that Joseph was martyred. The jail is one of the few places that is still all the original walls. The door has bullets holes and the one that went thru the doorjam that struck. After we came back to Nauvoo I went to the Land and Records building. I got a CD of the property that Ira Nathaniel's grandparents owned and the property of David J Evans. My cute team gave me a birthday party at Marcia and Shirley's apartment. They had cake, ice cream and gave me a necklace of the Nauvoo Temple with a card that they all wrote it. It was very sweet. Marcia told us some great stories that I need to write down before I forget them.
